- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- 1 cup (250ml) milk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- Butter for greasing the pan (optional)

- Pan temperatures of 350°F/176°C to 375°F/190°C
Method
1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, and egg until combined.
3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until just combined. Do not overmix or the pancakes will be tough.
