The solution
The wrong equation was 5 + 4 = 7. In order to correct the equation, you need to move one of the matches from the number 5. You need to take the vertical match that is on the left side of the number, then move it to the right side to form a number 3. Thus, you obtain a correct equation with 3 + 4 = 7.
