Incredible but true! Look at what this eagle has between its talons!

The animals are amazing!

Doug Gemmell was in the perfect spot and got the chance to witness an eagle’s amazing feat!

As the bird plunged to the ground, its talons outstretched looking for prey, he looked through his lens. This young eagle had not yet developed white head feathers, but its hunting skills were evident.

But, unlike it’s usual prey, the eagle was on the hunt in a parking lot. Gemmell was curious and took more pictures.

Later, as he reviewed them, he realized the bird had caught a slice of pepperoni pizza. He was astounded.

You don’t see something like this every day,” he said.

Although its unclear if the bird ate the pizza, Doug’s persistence was rewarded with this unique and remarkable moment that showcased the eagle’s capability to find food in unexpected places.

Eagles have their own hunting methods and are larger than other diurnal raptors with the exception of vultures and harpy eagles.

This size does not allow them to have the same level of agility as a hawk and makes hunting more challenging.

Let’s be serious! What is the usual diet of eagles?

Ah, the majestic eagle. The symbol of freedom, strength, and apparently, a very particular diet. So, what exactly is the eagle’s diet? Well, let me break it down for you.

These birds of prey are carnivorous and will eat just about anything that moves, as long as it’s small enough for them to handle. That means rodents, fish, snakes, and even other birds.

Yeah, you heard me right. Eagles are basically the Hannibal Lecter of the bird world. But hey, they gotta eat too, right?

Now, you might be wondering, how does an eagle go about catching its prey? Well, they have some pretty impressive hunting skills, let me tell you.

Eagles are known for their sharp talons and beaks, which they use to swoop down and snatch their unsuspecting victim right out of the air (or water, or ground, or wherever they happen to be hanging out).

It’s like something straight out of an action movie. Except, you know, with a bird.

So, there you have it. The eagle’s diet is all about meat, meat, and more meat (and pizza!!!!). And if you happen to be a small, furry creature or a fish, you might want to watch your back. Because when an eagle’s hungry, it’s game on.
