Sebastian Spreng

Sebastian Spreng is a man of many paradoxes. A minimalist at heart, he combines the feeling of isolation from the likes of Edward Hopper with the color field technique of artists like Mark Rothko. He has formed a bridge between the psychological and the physical. His work is a continuous exploration of the evolution and survival of humankind by finding strength in dreams, hopes, and aspirations. Creating elaborately rich compositions, his work is personal, expressing the inner core of human emotions, perhaps from the many obstacles he has overcome.
